On 16 November 2015, FIA Region I was invited to present the consumer perspective on challenges linked to the connected car at the European Parliament’s Consumer Protection Committee (IMCO) Working Group on the Digital Single Market. At the event, FIA Region I Policy Director, Laurianne Krid, spoke about the need for data protection and a fair and open aftermarket for connected vehicle services.
