Founded in 1904, the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) brings together leading national motoring organisations from 146 countries worldwide and is the governing body for world motor sport. The FIA Region I office, based in Brussels, is a consumer body comprising 101 Mobility Clubs that represent over 41 million members from across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

The FIA Eurocouncil
Together with its sub groups, Coordination Forum for Eastern and Central European Clubs (COFO) and Nordic Coordination Forum (NOCOF),
the work of the Eurocouncil consists of monitoring the work of the EU institutions, developing common platforms for the work of the Clubs,
and ensuring that our message is heard in Brussels and Strasbourg. Additionally, we also engage in a number of programmes and projects,

African Council of Touring and Automobile Clubs (ACTA)
The African Council of Touring and Automobile Clubs (ACTA) formally became a sub-region of FIA Region I in early 2008.
The African Council aims to improve the range of services provided motoring tourists and travelers in the African region.
Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Mobility Council
The Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Mobility Council formally became a sub-region of FIA Region I in early 2009.
The goal of MENA is to unite the Arabic speaking FIA Clubs of the region to shape the future of motoring throughout the Arab world.
