    Club news: BKA trains diplomats on road safety in Belarus

    In April, the Belarusian Auto Moto Touring Club (BKA) organised a road safety event for diplomats near Minsk. Over 100 participants attended theoretical and practical workshops on safe driving, representatives of international organisations, heads of diplomatic and consular corps .

    Demonstrations included how to extinguish a car fire and first aid training. There were also presentations of driver gaze direction tracking software that shows the impact of driver distraction on road safety. The spouses and children of the diplomats had dedicated sessions on preventing road accidents. The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Vladimir Makey was the most active participant, and was a role model for the other representatives of diplomatic and consular corps.
