مشروع خطوات آمنة عمّان   

أطلق نادي السيارات الملكي الأردني مشروع  خطوات آمنة عمّان   بالتعاون مع عدد من الشركاء المحليين وبتمويل جزئي من الاتحاد الدولي للسيارات، كمبادرة رائدة تهدف إلى تعزيز سلامة المشاة وترسيخ مفهوم المسؤولية المشتركة على الطرقات في الأردن. ويعتمد المشروع على نهج متكامل يجمع بين التوعية المجتمعية، وتمكين الشباب، وبناء القدرات الهندسية، والحوار المتعلق بالسياسات المرورية.

ومن أبرز مكونات المشروع الحملة التوعية (مش ذنبي) التي هدفت إلى تحدي ثقافة إلقاء المسؤولية على الآخرين، وتعزيز الوعي بدور كل فرد في حماية المشاة ومستخدمي الطريق الأكثر عرضة للخطر. وقد حققت الحملة انتشارًا واسعًا من خلال المنصات الرقمية، والشراكات الإعلامية، والمقابلات الإذاعية والتلفزيونية، والإعلانات الخارجية في مختلف مناطق العاصمة عمّان، حيث حققت 4.6 مليون مشاهدة  وساهمت في خلق تفاعل مجتمعي ملحوظ، خصوصًا بين فئة الشباب.

وضمن استراتيجية التوعية المبتكرة، نظم المشروع ورشة عمل متخصصة لصنّاع المحتوى والمؤثرين على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي حول كيفية إنتاج محتوى مروري آمن ومسؤول، استنادًا إلى إرشادات وأفضل ممارسات منظمة الصحة العالمية (WHO). وتُعد هذه الورشة الأولى من نوعها التي تُعقد باللغة العربية على مستوى المنطقة، حيث هدفت إلى تزويد المؤثرين بالأدوات والمعرفة اللازمة لتقديم رسائل توعوية أكثر تأثيرًا ومسؤولية مجتمعية.

كما ركّز المشروع على جانب التوعية وبناء القدرات من خلال تنفيذ ورش عمل تفاعلية لسفراء شباب من الذكور والاناث تتراوح أعمارهم بين 11 و14 عامًا بهدف تعزيز السلوكيات الآمنة ونشر ثقافة السلامة المرورية بين أقرانهم. إلى جانب ذلك، شارك طلبة جامعات وممثلون عن جهات حكومية في تدريبات متخصصة حول منهجية                                                                             iRAP Star Rating for Schools (SR4S)   لتقييم وتحسين سلامة المناطق المحيطة بالمدارس. كما تضمن المشروع تنفيذ برنامج تدريب الشباب من قبل مؤسسة  “YOURS”، والذي ركّز على تمكين المشاركين الشباب بمهارات المناصرة والتواصل والقيادة ليكونوا سفراء فاعلين للسلامة المرورية داخل مجتمعاتهم.

وسعى المشروع كذلك إلى ربط التوعية بالفعل المؤسسي عبر فتح حوار مع الجهات الرسمية وأصحاب العلاقة حول سلامة المشاة والتنقل الحضري الآمن. ورغم تأجيل المؤتمر الوطني الخاص بسلامة المشاة نتيجة الظروف الإقليمية، واصل المشروع مسيرته من خلال تطوير توصيات وسياسات بالتعاون مع الشركاء الوطنيين وسيتم تسليم التوصيات الى الجهات المعنية.

ويؤكد نادي السيارات الملكي الأردني من خلال مشروع (خطوات آمنة عمّان) التزامه المستمر بأهداف الاتحاد الدولي للسيارات في مجالي التنقل والسلامة المرورية، ودوره الريادي في دعم تنقل أكثر أمانًا واستدامة في الأردن والمنطقة.

Safe Steps Amman Project

The Royal Automobile Club of Jordan (RACJ), in cooperation with several local partners and with partial funding from the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA), launched the Safe Steps Amman project as a pioneering initiative aimed at enhancing pedestrian safety and reinforcing the concept of shared responsibility on Jordan’s roads. The project adopts a comprehensive approach that combines public awareness, youth empowerment, engineering capacity building, and dialogue on road safety policies.

One of the project’s key components was the awareness campaign “Not My Fault”, which aimed to challenge the culture of shifting responsibility onto others and promote awareness of every individual’s role in protecting pedestrians and vulnerable road users. The campaign achieved wide outreach through digital platforms, media partnerships, radio and television interviews, and outdoor advertising across various areas of Amman, generating 4.6 million impressions and creating significant public engagement, particularly among youth.

As part of its innovative awareness strategy, the project organized a specialized workshop for content creators and social media influencers on how to produce safe and responsible road safety content, based on World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines and best practices. This workshop was the first of its kind to be delivered in Arabic within the region and aimed to equip influencers with the tools and knowledge needed to communicate road safety messages in a more impactful and socially responsible manner.

The project also focused on awareness and capacity building through interactive workshops for young male and female ambassadors aged between 11 and 14 years old, with the aim of promoting safer behaviors and spreading road safety awareness among their peers. In addition, university students and representatives from governmental entities participated in specialized training on the iRAP Star Rating for Schools (SR4S) methodology to assess and improve the safety of school surroundings. The project further included the implementation of youth training programs delivered by the “YOURS” Foundation, which focused on empowering young participants with advocacy, communication, and leadership skills to become active road safety ambassadors within their communities.

The initiative also sought to connect awareness efforts with institutional action by opening dialogue with official entities and stakeholders on pedestrian safety and safer urban mobility. Although the national pedestrian safety conference was postponed due to regional circumstances, the project continued its work through the development of policy recommendations in collaboration with national partners, which will be submitted to the relevant authorities.

Through the Safe Steps Amman project, the Royal Automobile Club of Jordan reaffirms its ongoing commitment to the FIA’s objectives in mobility and road safety, as well as its leading role in supporting safer and more sustainable mobility in Jordan and the region.
