Join the CAD network at the EUCAD 2020 Symposium in Helsinki

    30 January 2020

After three successful European Conferences on Connected and Automated Driving (EUCAD) events, FIA Region I will contribute again to the organisation of its fourth edition, taking place during the Transport Research Arena conference (TRA 2020) in Helsinki on 28 and 29 April 2020. As part of ARCADE project, and held in collaboration with the European Commission Directorate General for Research & Innovation (RTD) and ERTRAC, the EUCAD 2020 symposium is targeted at public and private stakeholders in road transport, interested in exchanging views on immediate next steps and future actions required for connected and automated mobility.

During two days of intense working sessions, leaders and experts from the CAD field will debate topics ranging from the technical systems underlying CAD functionalities to regulation and user acceptance. Two tracks of two sessions running in parallel will be organised, and each workshop will focus on “hot topics” related to the main challenge areas for CAD development and testing in Europe. The main purpose of the event is to allow for an interactive debate between the invited panellists and the audience around key R&I questions and the way forward. More information will follow soon, participation in the EUCAD 2020 Symposium is only open to registered participants of TRA 2020 conference, find more information here.

FIA Region I is one of the 23 partners involved in the ARCADE project, gathering relevant information on the developments of CAD and creates a one-stop-shop for experts in the field.
