    COMMUNICATIONS & EVENTS INTERN

    Location: FIA Region I office in Brussels, Belgium (on-site, Brussels-based)

    Duration: 6 months, full-time (mandatory learning/internship agreement* provided by the university)

    Starting date: ideally 17 August 2026

    Deadline for applications: 14 June 2026 (applicants will be considered on a rolling basis and may be requested to take a test)

    ABOUT THE ROLE

    Are you a university student eager to immerse yourself in Communications and Events Management? FIA Region I is offering a compelling internship that promises to refine your skills in a vibrant international setting. This role is tailor-made for those looking to draft and edit impactful articles, design eye-catching communications materials, and dive deep into digital content creation and analytics.

     

    Your tasks would include but not be strictly limited to:

    · Draft and edit engaging articles.

    · Craft weekly newsletters.

    · Create striking communications materials, including brochures, banners, and social media visuals.

    · Update and manage content on websites via WordPress.

    · Monitor press activities and support social media management.

    · Assist in the organisation of events and analyse surveys, social media, and website analytics.

    · Support international awareness and advocacy campaigns on road safety and mobility-related topics.

     

    Who are we looking for?

    · University students seeking practical experience within an international team, and willing to relocate to Brussels.

    · High proficiency in English (written and spoken), creativity, and a keen eye for detail.

    · Organised, enthusiastic individuals with a knack for prioritizing tasks.

    · Familiarity with Adobe Suite, HTML/WordPress, and an active social media presence will be advantageous.

    · Candidates must be registered at a higher education institution and have the right to work in Belgium.
