    New Green NCAP results

    20 July 2022

20 July 2022 – Today, Green NCAP releases four new environmental ratings below.

The plug-in hybrid SUV from Lynk & Co “01” achieves an overall rating of three and a half stars. In Green NCAP’s assessment, the vehicle receives an overall rating of three stars thanks to its good pollutant emissions control and its well-balanced electric range. However, its weight causes high consumption when the vehicle is working with the battery fully discharged.

The petrol hybrid SUV Honda HR-V achieves three stars. The vehicle performs remarkably well in the Clean Air Index. Highway driving increases the petrol consumption which is a typical behaviour for crossovers.

The Genesis G70 achieves two stars and fails to impress, with poor energy efficiency and significant greenhouse gas emissions. However, it performs well with regard to pollutant emissions, except under full-load highway accelerations.

The Subaru Outback scored an excellent five stars in Euro NCAP’s crash & safety tests last year. In Green NCAP the vehicle, unfortunately, did not always control sufficiently its pollutants and achieves one and a half stars.
