Club news: UAMK hosts a connected car workshop in Prague

Publication date: 26 January 2017

The Czech Motoring Club UAMK, with the support of Intelematics Europe, recently held a workshop on connected cars. The purpose of the event was to encourage international cooperation and exchange experiences among FIA Region I Clubs.

The workshop was attended by 12 participants from 8 countries including Poland, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.  One of the highlights of the event was the discussion of potential implementation of connected car services using OBD-II plug-in dongle units developed by Intelematics – a joint venture created by Clubs to address and respond to global challenges of connected mobility.

In addition, there were brainstorming sessions on the practical aspects of future opportunities that helped participants to learn the best practices and support one another in innovative activities.
