Club news: UAMK, ACM and RACE cooperate for road safety training

Publication date: 29 April 2015

The UAMK, Czech Republic team and experts participated in a series of road safety training sessions in Moldova, sharing their knowledge on road safety. The trainings were carried out in March by the Automobile Club of Moldova (ACM) in collaboration with Real Automóvil Club de Espańa (RACE) and UAMK.

More than 700 participants attended the theoretical road safety course, learning about the main road traffic risk factors and how to reduce them, including drink driving, distracted driving, driver fatigue, seatbelt non-use, speeding and tyres. Furthermore, the participants had the opportunity to try the rollover simulator and simulators of dangerous traffic situations. The aim of the courses is to bring broader awareness to the participants and to urge better responsibility and attention while driving.
