Club news: TACI participates in the 4th International Road Safety Congress in Tehran

Publication date: 26 February 2015

The 4th International Road Safety Congress was held together with the 2nd International Neurotrauma Congress in Tehran from 18 to 19 February. The two congresses were held simultaneously because the organisers believe that the prevention of road accidents saves lives and reduces the rate of neurological disorders.

At the event, the Iranian Automobile Club, TACI, presented its recent activities regarding road safety issues, with special focus on the project “Don’t Drive When Drowsy”, which is running with the financial support of the FIA.

The congress presented current research and best practices in road safety especially on education, enforcement, engineering, and the road environment as well as innovation, progress and new directions in road safety policy, planning, research, practice and evaluation.
