Club news: SAC runs road safety campaign for kids as part of UN #SaveKidsLives campaign

Publication date: 06 May 2015

Syrian Automobile Club (SAC) carried out a road safety programme for kids called “School look and click campaign” under the FIA Road Safety Programme. The road safety campaign included five days of working with children, raising awareness on road safety issues in support of the UN #SaveKidsLives campaign.

The third UN Global Road Safety Week #SaveKidsLives, held on 4-10 May 2015, was dedicated to child safety, seeking to highlight the plight of children on the world’s roads and generate action to better ensure their safety. The week featured hundreds of events hosted by governments, international agencies, civil society organisations, and private companies, including the delivery of the “Child Declaration for Road Safety” to policymakers.
