Club news: ÖAMTC opens new headquarters with a grand ceremony

The grand opening of the Österreichischer Automobil-, Motorrad- und Touring Club’s  (ÖAMTC) new mobility headquarters took place last Friday in Vienna. The Club celebrated this special ceremony with 250 guest among which were Alexander Wurz,  Austrian Government, FIA member Clubs’ Presidents from neighbouring countries,  Thierry Willemarck, President FIA Region I and Wolfgang Srb, FIM Europe President.

 

ÖAMTC President Werner Kraus says: ‘for the first time in its 120-years history, the Club has brought all emergency services under one roof. This energy-optimised, functional building is a new architectural bright spot in the region, an innovative working environment for 800 employees and a modern service centre for our members". By bringing ÖAMTC into one location, the Club also aims to reduce infrastructure and administrative costs.
