Club news: MAK celebrates 115 years since foundation

On 30 November, Magyar Autóklub (MAK) celebrated its 115th anniversary by opening a special temporary exhibition in its iconic building in Budapest.

The exhibition highlights history of the Club starting in 1900 till the present, emphasising the creation of motor sport in Hungary and launching roadside assistance country-wide. Additional milestones included: the organisation of the First International Automobile Exhibition in Budapest; launching highly appreciated legal and touristic services; defending rights of motorists by calling attention to the urgent need to decrease fuel prices and motorway tolls.

To mark its anniversary MAK has launched a special webpage as well including collection of photos. On the occasion of this milestone MAK members can enjoy great benefits and motorists can enrol making use of discounted membership fees.
