FIA Region I Spring Meeting held in Belgrade on 8-11 May 2012

The annual FIA Region I Spring Meeting was held on 8-11 May 2012 in Belgrade, and hosted by AMSS. The event brought together FIA Region I Club representatives from Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Presentations from the event are now available online here (members only).
The theme of this year's Spring Meeting was ,“Moving towards Safe, Clean and Efficient Mobility“. A selection of photos from the event can be found below and more will be made available online shortly in the Events section of the website.

The FIA Eurocouncil meeting on Wednesday 9 May agreed on a declaration on the promotion of ITS in urban transport planning. See the full declaration here.

The FIA Region I Plenary Assembly was held on Thursday 10 May.

Ms Lorna Catling from the AA was the winner of the 2011 Innovation Award for the Dangerous Drivers' School project. Runners up were Miquel Nadal (RACC) for the INFOTRANSIT project and Marco Brachini (ACI) for the Sarafree project.
