Experience UDRIVE in the Hague

Publication date: 03 May 2017

Registration is now open for the UDRIVE Experience event! It will take place on 7 June in The Hague, the Netherlands and it is free of charge, however, registration is required as availability is limited (see below).

UDRIVE will share its key findings and demonstrate the Data Acquisition System (DAS) it developed for data collection, the database it built and populated and the opportunities it offers to study driver behaviour.

UDRIVE is the first large-scale European Naturalistic Driving Study on cars, trucks and powered-two wheelers. The naturalistic driving study provides insight into driver behaviour during everyday trips by recording details of the driver, the vehicle and surrounding traffic in a range of situations e.g. acceleration, lane position, speed, eye movements, traffic densities or road conditions.

120 cars, 32 trucks and 40 scooters are collecting data for up to 21 months, equipped with several video cameras covering both the external view of the vehicle and the internal view, including the driver’s face, hands and feet. FIA Region I is a partner in the UDRIVE project.
