European Commission publishes study investigating active and passive safety features for motor vehicles

This week, the European Commission published the final report of a study commissioned in view of revising the General Safety Regulation. The study investigates the feasibility of regulating a long list of active and passive safety features for motor vehicles. The results of this study will be the basis for debate in the European Parliament, Council, and Commission, which should prepare a proposed revision of the Regulation in 2016.
