Club news: TACI appoints new President

The Touring & Automobile Club of the Islamic Republic of Iran (TACI) has appointed a new President, Mr. Abolghasem Iraji Kojoori. Mr Iraji’s term began mid-January 2014. Previously he has held many high level positions, including Deputy Minister of Culture and Minister of Home Office.

On 2 February 2014, Mr. Hossein A. Gholizadeh was named Senior Adviser on International Affairs for the President of TACI. Being the Senior Adviser for the President of TACI, Mr. Gholizadeh is in charge of coordinating international affairs on mobility and tourism. He is convinced that the FIA plays an important role in international cooperation on tourism and mobility with relevant organisations and federations.
