Club news: TACI trains Iranian road patrolmen

Publication date: 25 November 2015

The Touring and Automobile Club of the Islamic Republic of Iran (TACI) and two Iranian automobile manufacturers jointly launched the TACI Road Patrolmen Training Programme on 7–8 November in Tehran. The event gathered 52 road patrolmen and focused on new vehicle technologies and onsite repair for GWM and Renault vehicles. Over the two-day period the participants learned the latest techniques and best practice for roadside assistance to help get motorists back on the road.

Also, TACI and the Fire and Safety Services Organisation from Tehran Municipality launched the TACI Firefighter Training Programme on 9-10 November at a fire station in the Sixth Operational District of Tehran Fire Department. Sixty road patrolmen attended this two-day event.

Both events were organised by TACI and included theoretical and practical training sessions and, upon completion, the Certificate of Attendance was handed over to participants.
