Club news: ÖAMTC reaches 2 million members in Austria

The Austrian Automobile Club (ÖAMTC) has reached 2 million members, which represents 31% of Austrian population above the age of 18. The Club was able to double the number of members over the past 25 years. CEO Oliver Schmerold describes the number as a milestone for ÖAMTC, and said that now it is necessary to develop innovative solutions to societal changes and the needs of future mobility.

The ÖAMTC offers its members a countrywide network of emergency services, as well as other services in the areas of transport, travel and leisure. Online services with different apps are available to members on current fuel prices, gas stations, parking garages and 24/7 travel information.
