Club news: CCC offers motorhoming holidays in Japan

Publication date: 16 November 2016

Worldwide Motorhoming Holidays from The Camping and Caravanning Club (CCC) has launched a new escorted tour to appeal to adventurers with a passion for the ancient cultures and traditions of the Land of the Rising Sun - Japan.

The motorhome tour of Japan lasts 20 days and its itinerary includes dazzling Tokyo, Japan’s beautiful temples and shrines and the Hiroshima Peace Park.

It’s just the latest addition to the Worldwide Motorhoming Holidays portfolio, which now includes 12 escorted tours to exciting destinations in Argentina, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, USA and Southern Africa.

As well as escorted tours, trips can be tailor made for independent travellers who prefer not to be tied to a set itinerary or travel within a group. The CCC is interested in offering escorted tours to FIA member Clubs and is open to hear from Clubs about such partnerships.

Travel Specialists provide support at point of booking, while Tour Escorts on the ground help travellers get under the skin of the destination.

Richard Grimsdale, Worldwide Motorhoming Holidays director, said: “We’re delighted to add Japan to our programme. It’s completely different to our other destinations and offers an adventure with a difference.

“We also provide Escorted Tours to other FIA member Clubs, which is an area of our business we wish to grow and would be pleased to hear from other Club who may be interested in working with us.”
