Club news: Changes to the tolls at the Dartford crossing

Publication date: 19 November 2014

The AA UK has warned of a change in the way the toll at Dartford-Thurrock will be charged. Currently, a charge (toll) is payable in both directions when crossing, at toll booths located on the south side of the river or through a pre-payment account known as a DART-Tag.

From 30 November 2014, the way you pay the Crossing charge will change when a new scheme called Dart Charge is introduced. The Dart Charge replaces cash payments at toll booths and the DART-Tag.
