Club news: BKA urges drivers to be 5-star parents in the car

Publication date: 22 May 2017

The Belarussian Auto Moto Touring Club (BKA) has been running the “Be 5-star parent in the car" project, which aims to make parents experts in their children’s road safety. With the support of the road police and a child restraint systems (CRS) expert, there have been numerous workshops on the correct use and installation of CRS all over Belarus.

The project included a research survey, the production of three instructive videos and the creation of an online platform where parents, who cannot afford the best possible CRS, can exchange knowledge on best practices to keep their children safe.

The highlight of the project was the “Child Safety in Cars” conference where BKA welcomed the representatives of neighbouring Clubs and the CRS expert from TCS, Anton Keller to join the discussion on child safety projects and initiatives in different countries.
