Club news: ACP launches road safety campaign

Publication date: 19 May 2014

The Automobile Club of Portugal (ACP), together with the Students Forum and Municipality of Braga, has launched an initiative which aims to develop road safety education and activities, especially for the young road users. Information included in the initiative includes the measures to implement in order to prevent accidents.

The campaign began as a reaction to the large number of road fatalities among young people in Portugal and to support the Decade of Action for Road Safety. With the campaign, the Club aims to share innovative practices to change people’s mentality as well as a new, more cautious attitude towards driving.

A variety of road safety activities will be held throughout the year.
