Club news: AAT recognised for successful boda boda training

Publication date: 22 April 2015

The Automobile Association of Tanzania (AAT) and the FIA were honoured by the National Road Safety Council of Tanzania for the successful boda boda training of 850 commercial motorcycle riders at graduation ceremony on 17 April at Kibaha Police Hall.

The boda boda training began 3 years ago, and since then, over 4,000 motorcyclists have been trained in the Dar es Salaam region alone. AAT, in collaboration with Education Unit of the Tanzania Police Traffic Headquarters, trains riders on driving skills and road signs with funding from the FIA Road Safety Grant Programme.
