Club news: AA Namibia reports on national activities for the UN Global Road Safety Week 2015

A media statement from the Automobile Association of Namibia (AAN) stated that, on 22 May 2015, 15,000 children from 52 schools handed over a declaration of commitment to road safety to the UNICEF Representative in Namibia, in commemoration of the UN Global Road Safety Week 2015.

The #SaveKidsLives campaign in collaboration with the AAN, the Motor Vehicle Accident Fund (MVA) of Namibia and other local road safety partners is supported by Deputy Prime Minister Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah.

With over 100 children are killed on Namibia's roads every year, the aim of the campaign is to highlight the plight of children on the world's and Namibia’s roads while calling for action to ensure child safety on the road.
