FIA President Jean Todt Visits Brussels

Newly elected FIA President Jean Todt visited the FIA European Bureau in Brussels on 6th of November last. During his visit he took the opportunity to make introductions with the bureau’s staff and gain first hand insights into the work conducted by the FIA in Europe’s capital.
During this visit, President Todt attended his first FIA Euroboard meeting. He was warmly welcomed by the members (club presidents and chief executives) of the FIA’s European management board. The Euroboard meets three times a year to review and decides upon progress made by the European Bureau and the latest policy developments at European level.
Everyone appreciated President Todt’s declared commitment to developing the FIA’s role in the field of mobility. His background may be motor sport but now one of his main priorities is mobility. During the meeting he stressed the importance of the activities of the bureau and the policy work done within FIA Mobility. He insisted that he would give a high priority to the further development of activities in this area during his four-year mandate as FIA President.
