Earlier this month the ATCUAE welcomed a delegation from the N. Irish Government to Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi. While on a trade visit to the Middle East, the First and Deputy First Ministers met with the ATCUAE to support their growing relationship with the University of Ulster, and learn how the two organisations are bringing a new academic approach to sport in the UAE.

This week, the University of St. Joseph in Lebanon launched the worlds first Masters Degree in Road Safety Management. The pioneering programme has been developed in conjunction with the Federation International de lAutomobile (FIA), and will also receive support through one of the worlds largest car manufacturers, Renault, though the Renault Foundation.
